What the work
illustrates.

A repeatable test helps distinguish an impressive individual output from a reliable workflow. Task-specific criteria and representative examples are still needed when choosing a model.

Using model comparison to inform a product decision

Define the information boundary

Choose a real task, a consistent set of inputs and explicit output criteria before comparing models. Keep prompt versions and settings visible so the team can distinguish a useful change from a different test condition. Include repeated runs when outputs vary.

Acceptance for a new engagement

Review quality together with latency, availability and cost for the intended workload. A comparison tool supports investigation; it does not replace an application-specific evaluation or validate a provider’s production configuration. Define the evidence needed to select and operate the component.

Prepare a comparable brief

Bring a sample of the current work, the people who perform it and the outcome you want to improve. We can use these to discuss feasibility, the relevant experience, dependencies and the smallest useful implementation. Scope, staffing, schedule and price are agreed for the new engagement.
