Choose an AI Supplier by Testing the Work

A supplier decision should survive real inputs, integration constraints and a clear handover, rather than depend on a polished demonstration.

Cybergizer implementation notes · Practical guide

Write the acceptance contract first

Start with a representative task and the conditions under which an answer is useful. Record required inputs, permitted actions, unacceptable failures and who approves exceptions. Give shortlisted suppliers the same evaluation pack. Include incomplete records and ambiguous requests alongside straightforward examples, so the exercise tests operational fit rather than presentation quality.

Inspect the surrounding system

Ask suppliers to demonstrate access controls, integration boundaries, monitoring and recovery. Examine what happens when a dependency times out or a model produces an unusable response. Request a practical explanation of deployment responsibilities, data handling and support. A capability that exists in a slide should remain an open question until demonstrated.

Purchase a bounded next step

Compare the complete cost of a limited implementation, including internal review, integration work and ongoing operation. Name the person who accepts the result and specify what happens to configuration and documentation at handover. Choose a paid scope with an exit condition, then use its evidence to decide whether a wider commitment is justified. Keep the resulting decision and its supporting evidence available to the team responsible for operation.

Choose the next delivery decision

Bring one process, its owner and the decision you need to make. We can discuss what needs to be established before committing to implementation.
