Put product information to work.

Catalogs, supplier documents, customer operations and the systems behind a consumer business.

Possible starting points

Choose one
useful workflow.

01

Catalog operations

Prepare structured product information and flag conflicting specifications for review.

02

Supplier workflows

Organize incoming evidence and coordinate missing information across teams.

03

Customer and brand operations

Connect approved knowledge to support drafting, search and exception handling.

Agree the
boundaries.

Define who approves product claims, prices and customer-facing changes. Test source freshness and account for review effort as well as generation speed.

The first scope identifies a process owner, data access, evaluation cases, integration dependencies and operating responsibilities. Relevant team experience and any required specialist support are confirmed before implementation.

Planning your implementation

Start with one repeatable information workflow

Example: preparing product information

Select one product range, channel and approved source of product facts. A workflow can assemble draft descriptions or structured records for review, highlighting missing attributes instead of filling gaps with assumptions. The responsible team approves factual claims, tone and channel requirements before publication.

Account for the whole process

Map where information originates, who updates it and which systems receive the accepted output. Include localization, variant consistency and exceptions in the initial evaluation. Compare the total preparation and review effort with the current workflow, including corrections rather than only generation speed.

Make the first release easy to review

Use a small representative set of products and clear acceptance rules. Preserve the source for important claims and a record of the reviewer’s changes. Define ownership of source updates, integrations and support so the workflow can remain useful as product information changes.
